Today were talking about the one-piece swimsuit trend that is so hot right now, and how I’m completely obsessed with it!
There is something that can be very sexy about a one-piece swimsuit, especially with a detail like cutouts and plunging necklines (which both seem to make an appearance on many many suits!) I want to keep buying swimsuits, but seeing as how it is already August, and the fact that I’m moving to New York City in a few months, I figured maybe holding off on stocking my closet with swimsuits would be the better idea. I will share my favorite swimsuit EVER though! I found this swimsuit last summer at TJ Maxx for less than $40!! It’s a Kenneth Cole one-piece that features a plunging neckline, strategically placed sheer panels, and an open back. Oh, and it’s black because it’s me, and we all know I’m a fan of a monochromatic wardrobe.
Anyway, the pattern not the front draws the eye in to the waist, and honestly through on some skinny jeans or cutoff shorts and this could defffffiinnitely pass for a top! …At least I think it could! It’s fun to pair it with a kimono or pair of shorts if I’m just running down to the pool, but you can even dress up a one piece by throwing a nicer item over it, like this Banana Republic skirt! Along with a nice bag. Thinking outside the box when it comes to your cover up options can create an entirely new look!
